Hello.

As an experienced educator, I am deeply passionate about integrating digital tools and resources to revolutionize how we teach and learn. I have a proven track record of successfully leveraging technology to enhance student engagement and achievement, and I take great pride in being able to lead other educators in this endeavor.


From designing interactive lessons using Canvas and Google Workspace to creating captivating videos and social media resources, I am well-versed in a wide range of creative and design applications. Technology can unlock endless possibilities for education, and I am committed to continually exploring new tools and resources to improve my teaching practice.


In my role, I have worked closely with administrators and my PLC to develop educational technology goals that align with our department, campus, and district priorities. I take a collaborative approach to leadership and always looking for ways to support and empower my fellow educators.


At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to student success. I provide prescriptive professional learning and campus support to ensure every student can access the best possible education. I am an excellent communicator, and I take pride in my ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders in the community.


As the world of education continues to evolve, I am dedicated to staying at the forefront of the latest trends and technologies. I am constantly seeking new learning experiences and attending conferences to improve my job performance and meet my school district's current and future needs.

February 2016 - Present

Campus Technology Liaison/Educator

Conroe ISD, The Woodlands, Texas

• Team Lead: Worked collaboratively with the team to develop, maintain, and assess the curriculum. Set grade-level priorities and expectations, and lead team meetings. Acted as a facilitator for resolving problems within the team. Developed team instructional calendars. Led team members in the transition to simultaneous in-person and virtual e-learning experiences for delivery through Canvas LMS. Developed systematic planning for virtual and in-person students and streamlined important team information. Revised courses to improve effectiveness based on learner feedback. Managed multiple projects simultaneously to fruition. Collaborated with subject matter experts to design, develop and deliver targeted lessons. 
• One of two instructors selected to participate in Conroe ISD's "Aspire to Leadership" leadership cohort
• Team received 2018 and 2019 Texas Academic Achievement distinction designations.
• $10,000 CISD Innovative Education Grant recipient.

February 2011 - June 2014

Loudoun County Public Schools, Ashburn, Virginia 
• CLT Facilitator and Google Field Test: Contact during Google Apps for Education Pilot. Responsible for receiving more advanced training and assisting Collaborative Learning Team (CLT) teachers in navigating and fully utilizing Google Apps. 
• Designed and led staff development modeling technology integration across content areas. 
• Designed and developed original lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Upon request of the Assistant Principal, delivered peer-to-peer technology coaching.
• Connected students with global industry experts through Google+ Hangout’s Connected Classroom program. 
• Coding Club Sponsor: Facilitated beginner cohort learning code and provided a forum for more advanced participants to share their knowledge and experience.

Mathematics Educator
Lumberton ISD,  Lumberton, Texas
• Grade Level Leader: Led grade-level meetings. Assisted building administration in the efficient operation of the grade level. Acted as a liaison between building administration and educators to ensure effective communication.
• Campus Site-Based Committee: Determined how campus improvement plan goals would improve the performance of all populations. Involved in areas of campus planning, curriculum, staff development, and updating the district calendar
• Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) Committee: Established and maintained effective campus environments that maximized academic achievement for learners through positive behavior reinforcement. Developed incentives and coordinated appreciation methods for faculty, staff, and administration. 
• Robotics Coach: Trained and mentored participants in the use of software, robotic design, and construction. Ensured that teams complied with all policies and procedures required to participate in a robotics competition.

April 2005 - June 2008

Technology and Learning Team Leader/Educator 
Klein ISD, Spring, Texas 
• Technology and Learning Team Leader (TL2): Responsible for collaborating with peers to create, manage, and assess learning opportunities that integrate Technology Applications Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TA TEKS) into core content instruction. Provided updates from District TL2 meetings with the team. Served on the campus leadership team that developed and implemented professional development opportunities to improve the integration of technology standards as required by the State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC). 
• Grade 4 Math Curriculum Writing Team: Trained by Scott Foresman Addison Wesley to implement enVision Math Texas. Developed learning units and designed the curriculum scope and sequence.
• District Textbook Adoption Committee: Analyzed various traditional textbooks publishers and National Science Foundation programs to determine which provided Klein ISD learners with a strong conceptual understanding of mathematics, was aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), and met the needs and goals for our students.
